About Aavisutram

Aavisutram began as a way of carrying forward a skill passed down from a grandmother — knitting and crochet, learned first at home and then sharpened over years of practice, patterns, and a fair amount of trial and error with online tutorials.

What started as making pieces for family slowly grew into something more, as friends and then their friends began asking for their own. Every piece here is still made by hand, one stitch at a time, with the same care as the very first ones.

Each finished piece carries Aavisutram's own label — a small mark of the care that goes into it before it reaches you.
